What is Xingu?

0:57

Brazil grows more coffee than any other country, across three biomes and both cultivated species — from the Amazon basin to the highlands of Minas Gerais. Almost no other country has that range inside its own borders. Anyone can buy Brazilian coffee; deciding which of it is worth the name on the bag is the whole job. Xingu exists to select the exceptional from the extraordinary, and to help write the next chapter of Amazonian Robusta with Iquiri Café da Amazônia.

The history behind the name

The Bollini story

The coffee wealth that put Maria Aparecida behind the wheel of a Buick in 1929 later carried the family to the Mato Grosso frontier. There, holding a valid state title, they faced a choice between that title and the rights of the people who were there first. They chose to recognize those rights decades before Brazil’s highest court did.

The Xingu Difference

Quiet luxury, in every detail.

A Story With a Future

Supporting what comes next for Amazonian coffee.

The Brazilian Amazon has an important coffee story that is still gaining recognition.

Through Iquiri, Xingu supports the development of Amazonian Robusta and the work required to strengthen its quality, identity, visibility, and long-term value.

This is not presented as charity. It is a commitment to helping an important Brazilian coffee region earn the attention its work deserves.

  • Development of Amazonian Robusta
  • Greater recognition for its origin
  • Support through Iquiri
  • Long-term value for the region
  • Respect for local knowledge and production

Manifesto

Coffee is never only the cup.

It is a place, a person, a decision, a ritual, and a history.

Xingu exists to bring those elements together—to select the finest of what Brazil grows, and to help write the next chapter of Amazonian Robusta.

We choose carefully so more people can experience what Brazil can do.
