Privacy policy

• We collect only what we need to sell you coffee and to answer you.
• Your card details go to Stripe, our payment processor, and never to us.
• The site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies of its own.
• We don’t sell or rent your personal information, or share it for advertising.

Checkout happens on Stripe’s secure payment page. Stripe collects your payment details and keeps them; we never see or store your card number.

Stripe passes us what we need to fulfil your order: your name, email address, shipping address (and billing address, where one is needed), and what you bought. We use them to send your order, contact you about it, handle refunds, keep the records the law requires, and prevent fraud.

Stripe’s own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy, covers what you give it on its pages. If you pay with a wallet or a pay-later service offered there, that provider handles the payment under its own privacy policy.

If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply to you.

If you sign up, we keep your email address to send you the newsletter, and for nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time, from any issue or by writing to us.

What’s in your bag is kept in your own browser, in its local storage, not on our servers. It reaches us only when you check out, and then only as products and quantities.

The site also keeps one small note in your browser’s session storage, so that the opening animation plays once per visit. It contains nothing about you.

xingucoffee.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Stripe’s payment page uses its own cookies, for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe’s policy.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it processes technical details of each visit — your IP address, the kind of browser you use and the page you asked for — to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Only the companies that help us run the business:

• Stripe, which processes payments;
• the carrier that delivers your parcel, which needs your name and address;
• Vercel, which hosts the site;
• the services that carry our email and messages.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

• Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Messages: as long as we need to answer you and follow up.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it, by writing to hello@xingucoffee.com. We’ll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep order records that the law requires us to keep.

The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

We don’t track visitors across other websites, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing here — there is no tracking for it to turn off.

If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
